Local Entrepreneur Continues Dickey’s Barbecue Pit’s Expansion in Washington State

Three new locations are slated to open beginning in Spring 2017



(Pullman, WA) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit will continue its expansion throughout the state of Washington with four new locations slated to open beginning Spring 2017. The four new locations will be owned and operated by current Dickey’s Barbecue Pit Owner/Operator, Dan Pelfrey.

“Dickey’s Barbecue Pit is growing rapidly nationwide with nearly 600 locations in 44 states, which is due in part to the amazing Owner/Operators of each Dickey’s Barbecue Pit location,” says Laura Rea Dickey, CEO of Dickey’s Barbecue Restaurants, Inc. “At Dickey’s we only want the best Owner/Operators to join our team and Dan Pelfrey was the perfect fit.”

 

Born and raised in Texas, Pelfrey knows a thing or two about the art of great barbecue and after moving to Washington he wanted to share his passion with his new community. Pelfrey grew up eating Dickey’s slow-smoked barbecue and when researching franchising opportunities Dickey’s felt like home to him. Pelfrey has already opened two locations in Richland and Kennewick and plans to open his next four beginning in Spring

to Washington I realized that not only was lacking Dickey’s delicious barbecue in my life, but so were the people in my community,” says Pelfrey. “I am excited to open my next four locations in Washington and continue serving my community Dickey’s barbecue.”
