Local Longmont Family Opens Dickey’s Barbecue Pit In Their Hometown

Dickey’s will offer four weeks of specials and giveaways, including free barbecue for a year for three guests

(Longmont, CO) Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens its doors to the Longmont community Thursday with four weeks of specials and giveaways, including free barbecue for a year for three lucky guests. To enter, guests of the new location must use #1FreeYearofBBQ on any social media page, order online or sign up for the Big Yellow Cup Club to receive loyalty points and member-only specials. The first 50 guests on Thursdays for the next four weeks will get a complimentary taste of Dickey’s newest limited time offer, the Frito’s Pie Taco. On Fridays, first responders will receive 50 percent off their meal, and guests will have the opportunity to donate to Barbecue, Boots & Badges, Dickey’s charitable foundation.

Doors open this Thursday and guests can enjoy the grand opening events over the next four weeks:

 

Thirsty Thursdays—All guests will receive a free Limited Edition Anniversary Cup with our new reusable travel lid and straw. The first 50 guests will receive a complimentary taste of the Frito’s Pie Taco, Dickey’s newest limited time offer.

 

Philanthropy Fridays— “You Give, We Give”, guests who donate to Dickey’s charitable foundation, Barbecue, Boots & Badges, will receive a gift card as a thank you for their donation. Uniformed first responders also receive 50 percent off their meal.

 

Singer/Songwriter Saturdays— Enjoy live music from a local musician.

 

Kids Eat Free All Day Every Sunday with a $10 dine-in purchase per adult.

Originally from Wyoming, the Kolm family has called Longmont their home for over 20 years. Gary and Lesa are the proud owners of five HobbyTown locations around the area. After spending the past 13 years operating their HobbyTown locations, the Kolm’s decided they wanted to break into the restaurant industry. Gary and Lesa, along with their daughter Melinda, are thrilled to open a Dickey’s Barbecue Pit in their community. “We love Dickey’s slow-smoked, Texas-style barbecue and we are excited to serve it to the residents of our community.”
