South Carolina Serves $1 Sandwiches at Dickey’s Barbecue

(Columbia, SC) Since opening in June, Dickey’s Barbecue in Columbia has become a local favorite.  Dickey’s, now the country’s largest barbecue chain, is throwing a grand opening event on Friday, October 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Customers will enjoy $1 Pulled Pork Big Barbecue sandwiches and three customers will win free barbecue for an entire year at the event.

“Columbia is a friendly community and we’ve enjoyed every moment since opening,” said franchise owner Donnell Brown. “The community needed a place for great barbecue and now they just can’t get enough of our authentic pit smoked meats.”

Donnell Brown has lived in Columbia for the past 20 years. His son Jason is the general manager of this location. In July, Sydney Cummins of WLTX awarded this Dickey’s with the Golden Spatula award.  The new smokin’ hot location is at 10136 Two Notch Rd, Unit 100-B. Dickey’s is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Since 1941, the world’s largest barbecue franchise has offered free kids meals every Sunday and affordable family packs designed to bring the whole family together for dinner. Family packs come with a choice of two meats, three medium sides, six rolls and Dickey’s famous barbecue sauce.
